Gun Rental - $30 ammo included
If you don't already own your carry gun, I highly recommend you rent for the class. Many students register for class and then go buy a gun. If you don't get the right gun for you, then you've just wasted a lot of money. We talk about how to choose the right carry gun during class. When you rent from me, you get the opportunity to shoot not just one pistol, but several different sizes and calibers. This helps you decide how much recoil you can handle and what fits best in your hand. Here are some of the guns available:
- S&W 22 caliber semi-auto
- S&W 22 caliber revolver
- Glock Model 44 in 22 caliber
- S&W Swiss Victory in 22 caliber
- I also have 9mm and 40 caliber pistols but only when ammo is available/affordable
What others say
“You risk it all when you draw, and you get what you pay for when you train. That’s why I’m entrusting my family’s safety to Skip Coryell at Midwest Tactical Training.” -- Chuck Perricone, Former Speaker of the House
Skip: When I took your class earlier this year I did so as a refresher. I was amazed at how much some things have changed. Your very professional presentations plus the practical time on the firing range was outstanding. I'll be taking your course as a refresher every couple of years from now on. -- Lt. Colonel (Ret) Denny Gillem, Frontlines of Freedom Radio
I highly recommend the CPL class through Midwest Tactical Training. The information is presented in an easy to understand manner and the class is female friendly. -- Brandi H
“Skip Coryell is an accomplished author and is and has been one of the best firearms instructors in Michigan for over 20 years! He’s practical, witty, and makes a serious subject fun to learn!” -- Joel Fulton, Co-Owner: Freedom Firearms, Southside Sportsman Club
I have taken two classes from Skip, the basic course and the advanced course, both were well organized and presented very well. The advanced course was extremely beneficial because it had emphasis on skills that I had never been exposed to before. I will highly recommend these courses and will take the advanced course again to continue the learning process. -- Philip V. S.
As a VietNam vet, Military Police Sgt., and Aux. Police Sgt. City of Birmingham, MI, I can certify that Skip presented one of the best day-long CPL renewal classes available. His interaction with everyone in the class was excellent along with highlighting the importance of common sense, additional responsibilities of carrying a pistol, and dealing with the aftermath of a potential self defense shooting. -- Tom L.
